Natural Stone

Natural stone is created from slabs of rock cut from stone quarries deep in the earth. Each slab has a unique color, pattern and irregularities depending on where they were extracted. Natural stone is one of the most luxurious materials available for design and every slab is a one-of-a-kind piece of art.

Granite

Granite is an igneous rock – the Latin word for fire. Formed from volcanic activity and composed of crystallized and solidified molten rock. Granite is incredibly durable making it the perfect pick for both indoor and outdoor design. The stone is available in a wide variety of color hues. Granite shows mineral grains more than any other stone we offer.

Polished – Glossy mirror-like finish highlights the stone’s characteristics. Colors and textures become more vibrant

Honed – A smooth surface without the gloss or reflection. Often called flat or satin, this finish is good for non-slip surfaces but may be susceptible to staining

Leathered – A modern, sophisticated finish resulting from a brushed texture that adds subtle dimples to the surface. More stain resistant than honed, this finish hides water spots, fingerprints and smudges

Marble

Marble has been a culture symbol since the Greeks and Romans first used it, representing a refined taste. Prized for its aesthetic appeal, marble is a timeless stone that is ideal for just about anywhere in your home. Formed when pre-existing limestone rock is exposed to the earth’s extreme heat and pressure. While white marble is most popular, we have a diversified selection of colors to choose from, each presenting emphasized veins.

Engineered stone is man-made from ground stone crystals combined with polymer resin and pigmentation during the manufacturing process. Harder and heavier than a natural stone slab, engineered stone can stand the test of time but requires less maintenance. The consistency of color and pattern makes engineered stone appealing to the consumer looking for a perfect match when designing their space.

Quartz

Different than quartzite, quartz is an engineered stone with natural quartz making up a majority of the compound, finished with blended binder and pigment during the fabrication process. Quartz is available in a wide variety of colors because of the pigment added. As durable as granite, with little to no maintenance, this countertop option deserves consideration for your renovation project.
